A Question About Job Training

I just gotta ask it? Do you feel like you are well trained on the jobs you do?
A lot of job requirements are acquired while actually doing the job and the longer you do the job the better educated you are. You become more comfortable doing the job which is to be expected. But the transitional learning curve can be very stressful. I feel more initial training and some refresher training would be very helpful. How about you?
Are any departments setting up to train during the first part of the year when vacations are few and manpower is available?
